Just got a 10 week old puppy, what to expect?

I just got a 10 week old puppy today and i wanted to know what to expect. i know that she will wake up during the night but at that time do i need to take her out to use the bathroom or just comfort her? basically i just want to know what the basics to successfully raising a puppy. thanks :)
