What do Ivy League schools look for?
They look for students who are passionate in a specific subject or thing and obviously pursue that through unique and extraordinary extracurriculars. Pick one thing you're very interested in, like for me it was politics, and do clubs and internships related to that. They also want students who have a story. In admissions essays, make sure you have a story to write about that describes how you came to be passionate about whatever you're passionate about. So start thinking about how you can make your life into a story and any events you can think of that happened in your life that made you the person you are today. The main way you can stand out is by being super passionate about a specific thing, pursuing that thing, and having a story that expresses what happened in your life that made you so passionate about it.
