What should I use to study for my written permit test ?

Ive wanted to drive for the longest. Yet my mother wont let me behind the wheel until I get my permit. Im 17 now and when I took the written test at motor vehicles ( NJ ) I failed it by 7 points. Second time I went I thought I was confident since I read over the drivers ed book so many times , and took that online testing thing and kept passing it ( http://www.edisondriving.com/test/online.shtml ). problem is I went in and most of the questions had nothing to do with what I studied. Im getting irritated cause I want to drive but that written test ub Rahway NJ is so hard to me. Everyone tells me its common sense you should pass it. Yet its diffrent set of questions all the time. Can anyone give me a website or what are some main things I should know. Not the basics but based on highways and city driving . Stuff like that please. Thankyou.
