Is it true that Hitler was really brown? If so; is my dad Hitler?

People in my second year political science course at Yale have been telling me that Hitler was not really Austrian, but rather he was brown and from Nairobi where he lived as a farmer for a good majority of his life until he decided to take up the casual pastime of genocide... Is this true or could my Ivy league classmates lied to me?
