How to make windowed programs in C++? ?

Ok, I'm kind of a n00b in C++, I only know basic things like 'cout << ''...'' <<;' and 'cin << ''...'' <<;', and labelling with 'int a =' and 'bool b' and 'if' statements and all the basics. I just want to know how to make a actual window with point-and-click features and inserting images. It's probably a new thing with the program in an actual windo with point-and-click, but I'm just tired of console applications. I want to learn more! So please help..
